I know this isn’t Overwatch related, but I felt it needed to be brought to attention. The VA for the TF2 Soldier, Rick May, has died from Covid-19, according to a post by the Sniper’s VA. On the first day this month I did a little April Fools day prank in honor of the game, featuring the Soldier as the head of it all. It truly, truly breaks my heart to hear that we have lost him to this epidemic. Please folks, heed the warnings. Wash your hands, stay indoors, keep things clean. We don’t need to put more people at risk. May your soul find everlasting peace wherever it may go, Rick May. - D

Okay but I haven’t talked about this here but what really is interesting to me about Soldier (and a thousand other things) is he knows books. He gets quotes wrong and the concepts muddled together but he references SEVERAL. In his Meet the Team Video he quotes The Art of War! He references toilken and dickens! He knows it! Not well but enough to make reference to it!

For being one of the mercs who’s most accepted as being illiterate in head canons it’s just very unlikely he is.
