Since it has been quite a long time since Magi ended, I always feel quite empty. Nothing can ever conquer my intense love for this Series and I decided to do some stuff again every now and then between work and other things that are going on in my life. I bet tons of people have already translated the Magi Encyclopedia, but I’m just gonna pick stuff I personally want to try to scan and translate, as a humble peasant who is studying japanese all by her lonesome. So mistakes will probably occur but I will try my best! That said, let’s go go!! Of course I will start with some Sinbad stuff, cause I’m a Sin Hoe.

The whole body is covered in scales
It’s characteristics are the whole body being covered in scales and the tail of a dragon. According to Yunan, the tail is very fluffy.
The Djinn that resides in the sword - Baal
With a grumpy face, Baal is the blue dragon that manipulates Lightning.
The sword of Sin’s father Badr breaks during an adventure and he is now using a different one.
Magi Trivia
For anyone not having noticed this and only have seen the anime or never read Sinbad no Bouken, here’s some short Trivia!
The sword Sin is using after Sinbad no bouken ends and Magi starts is a completely different sword. That is because the sword of Badr was broken during the Arc of the destruction of Sindria 1.0 in Volume 17 of Sinbad no Bouken.
Barbarossa used the power of his Djinn ( Glasya-Labolas (グラシャラボラス)) to destroy the Metal Vessels of Serendine and Sinbad.
