So, I was playing Super Paper Mario, and I Tattled the Dark Magiblots in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. As I was coming out of the Tattle state, one of their magic blots hit me and knocked me to 0 HP... and failed to kill me. I have no idea what caused this, and if anyone does know, could they please inform me?

Notes I made as I tried- perhaps way too hard- to maintain this state to my level up:

It persists to the next room just fine.

Cursya is capable of killing you, despite the fact I'm fairly sure Cursya statuses don't deal damage normally.

Name: Magiblot

Debut: Super Paper Mario

We all know the classic Eyes In A Void Face. Well, Magiblot IS a void with eyes in it! Floaty hands, too. Who put a modern Kirby character in this Mario game, am I right, gamers? 

Magiblots live in the space between the second and third dimension, and attack by throwing ambiguous magic at you. As you can see, there are three varieties: Red has the highest attack and lowest HP, blue has the highest HP and lowest attack, and yellow has a moderate amount of both. Was three of them really necessary? I guess it doesn’t hurt. And we get different descriptions for each! My favorite is that the blue one “curses like a Magiblot”. Are they known for their potty mouths? Keep Magiblots away from the children! 

And then there’s Dark Magiblot. Yes, there are more! This one dwells in darkness, having completely become one with the void... and it’s “extra crabby” about it. These things just have attitude problems for some reason.

(This is technically not the actual sprite, but the red one’s sprite which I filled in with black. For some reason the red one is the only one whose individual sprite on the wiki isn’t weirdly squashed. But only the best quality images for our wonderful readers! That’s you!)
