Spyro the Dragon Playstation 1998
spyro sona for the bf!! @witherandwane
I replayed Spyro the Dragon (ps1) this month. These are my favourite enemies from the Magic Crafters world! I love their designs, and I love how Spyro murders them all with no hesitation
Magic Crafters Headcanons from Spyro Reignited because I love me them funky wizard dragons:
- After reaching certain milestones in their magic training (An example being able to create your first original spell), a Magic Crafter can be bestowed upon with their own magical item. Some choose an item that's significant to them, such as Zantor with his cards, Zane and his spellbook or Altair and his orb, while others prefer a staff, which they will have to build themselves by gathering materials they'll search for across the dragon realms. The latter is considered the more tougher challenge, but those who do make it are considered to be the strongest of dragon wizards. A magic staff or item cannot be passed down for they are unique to the individual and therefore they obey only their original creator, so the Crafters keep a mausoleum of sort to preserve them once the dragon passes away.
- There are magical hot springs in the realms of the Magic Crafters. What sets them apart from average hot springs is that they posses actual magical properties that not only can alleviate any kind of physical pains like old joints or mobility related issues (making it a spot that's very popular with the elderly dragons), but they can invigorate a Crafter's magic almost instantly. It's also one of the few spots where they can socialize amongst each other, so doing group baths is not uncommon. Theses special springs are guarded jealously, so outsiders from the clan cannot enter without being explicitly invited by another Crafter.
- A common punishment they use on the young ones whenever they act naughty or make a mess is to make them clean up the floors and windows of their towers. All of them. It teaches them the value of always cleaning up after themselves, whenever a magic experiment goes awry or to be in general mindful of their working space. It's how they maintain their castles in such pristine conditions.
- The Druids and Wizards have been in a long standing feud long before the dragons came along after they were banished from their home. And nobody knows why, for even if they try to ask, the answers are always conflicting. They're pretty sure they only keep doing it just for the kick of it. As a result, The Magic Crafter get caught in the crossfire very often and even just taking a stroll outside can be an hassle if you don't know the right spell to counter a magic attack. It's turned into a daily annoyance at this point.
- Never EVER mess with a Magic Crafter work station. For the consequences might by potentially lethal depending on what each Crafter might keep in their quarters. Cursed items or highly unstable 'work in progresses' are on top of the list. But mainly, it's also because these dragons cannot STAND IT when someone might mess up their 'organized chaos'. Although, some tend to be tidier than others.
