We have merely scratched the surface of folk rock in our discussions about the latter genre, but we can all agree on one thing that still rings true, i.e. the style prospered the most during the 60's. Why remains a topic for another talk, though somehow these soundscapes captured the zeitgeist of the era. Of course, they also mixed with the other brands of the period as we can hear in the case of The Beau Brummels. For instance, their Triangle finds them locating a common ground between the folk rock and the psychedelia. They weren't one and the same back then despite them mingling a lot, yet they could be combined into the intriguing sounds. I mean, check the tune in the link and marvel at another edition of the 60's rock.
