"onii-sama..." she shuffled out of her room, holding a blanket loosely around her, part of it dragging on the floor. her eyes were nearly closed as she made her way towards him, lying down so her head was on his lap. strawberry blonde roots were more easily spotted now, as if she hadn't dyed her hair in some time. "watashi wa nemui..." though she hadn't told him, she had been sleeping very poorly for a while and it was starting to show a bit as well as overly warm.

　A look of surprise settled upon his features at the sight of the sleepy girl, who dragged herself onto him and settled down next to his figure, lastly lying down her head onto his lap, cuddling onto him comfortably. Her current state looked poorly taken care of, and he could tell by the looks of it that she evidently hadn’t had enough sleep, either.

　Had it surprised him? The fact that she also spoke in a decent Japanese of all? It did, yeah. But he didn’t speak a complain; instead, he flashed her a light smile, his hands moving up to her head to begin petting her hair in a gentle motion. There he’d noticed though, that the temperature of her skin was evidently warmer than it should be—a human fever, was it? Then, it was the more reason for her to rest...
