Boy, I’m terrible with posting art updates here…😅 Even so, I’m still around and still working on stuff!

Put together a compilation of projects that I’ve made, ranging from September 2021 to now. Did a variety of things in the past few months— group illustrations, art studies, memes and even a new animation! Most of the OCs are from my YST/RW Next Gen story (with some of @magicalcrystalwings ‘s kids making a guest appearance~ 🧡)

2021 has been tough for many, many reasons (besides the pandemic) , but a few friends out there made it a little easier to get through to the end. So as thanks, I made them some gift art. ❤️ Most of the characters in these drawings are their YST/RW OCs!

Top row (for @mischievous-light): Kaelyn and Sage / Kalia and Bel (who is one of @magicalcrystalwings ‘s OCs )

Middle row (for @seeun402 ): Hana and Cye / Natsumi and Ryo

Bottom row (for @kona-koa ): Anya and Kento / Rina and Rowen

New OC art batch! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ The majority of them are of TK (my main YST/RW Next Gen character), but there are a few other OCs and some special guests mixed in!

A few notes about each drawing:

1. Drew a reference picture for Silas, another old OC. It’s meant to match the one I did for his brother, Aiden~

2. Foreshortening practice! Pose was originally copied from a 3D figure I experimented with in Clip Studio Paint. :3

3. Made another screenshot-style picture, starring TK and an adult Ryo~ 👀

4. and 5. Based on dialogue from this post. Wanted to draw some OCs in the scene and picked TK and Yuuta -another Next Gen character- since they’re Aries and Taurus, respectively. :3

6. New picture of Chou (also Next Gen). Haven’t drawn her for a while, so I fixed that! Also changed the way I colored/shaded her eyes, which will be applied to other characters in future drawings. ^3^

7. Revised a sketch I did back in early 2020 of Chou and her boyfriend, Nathair (who belongs to @magicalcrystalwings). Based on a scene from one of the main battles in our Next Gen storyline.

8. MY FIRST CSP ANIMATION! <3 <3 I started this one last year, left it unfinished for a while, then returned to it and revised some details. It eventually got colored and turned out looking pretty smooth! So happy with this first attempt. I honestly had a LOT of fun making it, too! (This means more short animations will get made in the future as well. Look out for them! :D)

Time for an original character art batch! Here are some notes about each one:

1. Made a brand new reference for a very old OC of mine, Aiden. Included a few rough sketches of him to fill in the gaps.

2. Attempted to draw a screenshot-style picture, which included making the background. Super proud of the final result. <3 <3 The boy is Minato, one of my YST/RW characters and a nephew of Shin/Cye.

3. Drew more YST/RW OCs! From left to right: Parker (half brother of Touma/Rowen) and Ayumu (classmate and ally of the next gen team)

4. Made a second tribute drawing in memory of @magicalcrystalwings. This one showcases more of the amazing characters she created. ^^

New sketch dump! Some pictures were made back in 2020 while others were drawn a few months ago. All of them feature my YST/RW next gen kids, as well as some of @magicalcrystalwings's OCs. (Still missing you a month after your passing, Wings. You and your wonderful creations will never be forgotten. </3)

This drawing was started the night before @magicalcrystalwings passed, close to the end of our conversation. I had picked the characters (two of our YST/RW characters- the one on the right is hers 💚), she had helped me decide on the poses and she *was* going to help choose an outfit for her OC, but that never panned out. 😢 After hearing the news, I really wanted to finish the drawing and dedicate it to her. So here it is. ❤️

This won’t be the last time I draw any of her characters. Wings played a huge role in their creation and we got to develop most of our OCs together in the span of 2 years. I don’t want any of that development to get erased. I want to keep the story going. So they will definitely show up in future projects!

Lost an incredible friend earlier today. @magicalcrystalwings passed away suddenly and I’ve been in a state of shock ever since hearing the news.

Can’t think of anything else to say other than I am *extremely* grateful we became friends. Some of my art projects (and even most of my characters) wouldn’t have been possible without her encouragement and support. I even got to watch her make her own awesome original creations while we chatted about what was going on in our lives. She was a constant presence in my life for the past few years. It’s depressing to know that has come to an abrupt end.

I’ll never forget you, Wings (aka Sheryl). You were such a wonderful person and it was a blessing to have met you. Any future projects I make with my OCs will be dedicated to you. 🧡🧡 Thank you for being my friend~

New art dump! Been coloring some of my old sketches while experimenting with brushes and settings in Clip Studio Paint (which I absolutely LOVE using now). :D

A few of @magicalcrystalwings‘s OCs are in some of these as well. It’s always fun to draw any of them with my own characters! <3 <3
