  The  fountain  bubbles  gently  in  the  background  as  they  stand  outside  on  the  balcony  ,  the  queen  leaning  his  weight  against  the  railing.  The  stars  hung  like  crystals  in  the  sky  ,  sparkling  and  burning  with  their  light.  A  beautiful  landscape.

   Vil’s  head  turns  towards  Rook  at  his  Huntsman’s  question.  It’s  a  surprising  one  ,  one  he  wouldn’t  have  expected  to  hear  from  the  other.  Met  each  other  in  another  life  ?  It’s  a  thought  to  entertain.  That  perhaps  their  souls  have  crossed  paths  before  ,  and  through  all  of  time  and  space  they  had  found  each  other  again.  How  remarkable  would  that  be  ?  Any  time  ,  any  place  ,  any  path  ,  and  their  souls  still  found  each  other  once  again.  

   “  What  kind  of  question  is  that  ?  “

   But  contrary  to  what  path  his  words  might  make  one  start  to  assume  ,  the  queen’s  hand  reaches  out  to  intertwine  with  the  huntsman’s.  A  forwards  move  on  the  queen’s  part  to  start  ,  but  it’s  necessary.  No.  No  ,  it   isn’t.  He  simply  WANTS  it  and  that  is  just  as  good  of  a  reason  ,  to  let  his  heart  give  in  to  what  it  craves.  He  gently  pulls  Rook  closer  to  be  beside  him  under  the  stars.  Even  as  red  dusts  cheeks   ,  his  hand  gently  squeezes  Rook’s.

   “  Of  course  we  have.  “
