Dacian couldn't remember the last time he had slept this soundly. Months of being at another's mercy.. he hated how useless he felt. He felt.. warm.. though, as he was waking up. He shifts, wincing in pain as he sits up, taking in his surroundings. He moved the blanket off of his body, feeling the cool air meeting his skin. He could feel bandages wrapped around his body, around his injuries. He didn't feel unsafe.
The smell of sugar was in the air. His stomach rumbled at the smell of food and he gets to his feet, walking over to a basin on a vanity. It was full of water. He hoped his powers still worked here. He placed his hands in the water, eyes turning from a stormy grey to a brilliant blue. The water climbed from the basin, up his arms and all over his body, working to clean his wounds and beginning to close them.
The door clicked and his gaze snapped to the side, breaking the spell and the water returns to the basin. While not healed completely, he felt much better than he had a few minutes ago. He turns his head, as the door opened, returning to sit on his bed. He blinks, eyes returning to their normal color as the door swung open further. He didn't want to be caught using magic again, lest whoever had him found out and he'd be kicked out.
