Weird & Wonderful Wednesday
I’m going to admit that it was mostly the title that drew me into this book. (Yep, now I have the theme music going through my head as well, doh!)
Jason and his father aren’t close. But, still, when his father commits suicide it impacts Jason, first in the usual way, and then, when Jason learns that his father was a secret agent for an organization called the Invisible Hand. Another org, called the Golden Dawn are enemies of the Invisible Hand. As he realizes that he has magic abilities, he’s thrust between the two groups, as both ancient societies want him on their side.
It’s a fun fantasy novel, and it also has plenty of action going on. I did not want to put it down (ya know, to eat and sleep and such). A definite page turner.
