hehe im glad you noticed! I ship them for sure, I mean they just get each other so well (although I wish Jane was a bit nicer to Maura sometimes) and also the show makes me insane bc im only 3 seasons in and they’ve pretended to be lesbians, what is it, four times now? And like Casey is fine or whatever but i honestly don’t get what Jane sees in him. whereas Jane and Maura’s easy connection is just so clear. also i swear it seems like Hoyt ships them or something bc every time he wanted to talk to Jane about anything he was like “oh and Dr. Isles can stay too” which was really funny to me. But i think it’s maybe a consequence of having two women in the lead roles for this kind of show, which is very interesting actually. anyway they basically already act like they’re married and practically live together lol

I want to explore the idea that when Rio said at the fire "and I hurt them" it wasn't for gender neutral reasons but because she meant she hurt both Agatha and Nicolas both. Thoughts?

INTERESTING i actually haven't thought of that angle. i really like it tho. i can see rio deciding to not take nicholas to begin with could be her "hurting" him. and taking him was always going to happen so she was always destined to hurt agatha.
