MagicOS 11 Testing Begins
Honor has opened an early access program for MagicOS 11 in China, giving a small group of users a chance to try the upcoming software before its wider release. Applications were made available through the My Honor app, with the first testing phase focused on select flagship devices.
Alongside the rollout, Honor has started teasing a major visual refresh for the operating system. Early previews show a design built around translucent layers, reflective effects, and deeper animations, creating a glass-like appearance across menus and interface elements.
The company has also hinted that MagicOS 11 will continue its push toward smoother performance, improved connectivity between devices, and new user experience upgrades. As with any early software build, testers may encounter bugs, battery issues, or other stability problems while Honor gathers feedback.
Observation:
Phone software updates used to feel mostly invisible, but companies now treat them almost like product launches of their own. It's interesting how much attention is being placed on interface design again after years of focusing mainly on hardware.
