You can tell me some other time.” Yes, the little girl was disappointed, but she knew that Tristan didn’t forget on purpose, and she didn’t want him to feel this guilty over something that really wasn’t that big of a deal.

      “what did you do?? uh--eugh.” grimacing, somewhat flailing, trying to figure out what do for him. the first thing that comes to mind is magic. “just--one second. i have something.” not exactly, but she’s about to make it appear. picking up her backpack, pretending to rummage in it. though she’s actually zapping a few items into existence. “well first, you need to clean it.” marnie informs, so conveniently pulling out a bottle of water and cotton swabs.

“Aww.. okay. That’s okay.” Dizzy sighed. Even though magic didn’t work on the Isle, it would have been cool to even hear about it explained in detail. No one in her family was magical, so she relied on the stories of others to learn about this amazing power.
