It's consistency starts off like a cream and than becomes a oil after massaging it into skin. It does work the same as a cleansing oil. It does a great job removing makeup and loosening the guck from your pores. After using this morning and night for the past few weeks my skin feels way more bouncy and have even noticed a difference in texture and pore size.
