Gennifer knocks on the office door of lord magistrate Astarion Ancunín. She’s balancing a huge stack of papers on her arms. With the election of a new High Counsel, the work increased.  They’re planning to overthrow established rulings and bring a new order to Baldur’s Gate, they said.

“Come in! But hurry, I have a meeting in half an hour,” he says, muffled by the door.

“Lord Magistrate, I have the papers you-”

Astarion is preening in the mirror. He is wearing the newest noble chic, but must’ve forgotten to wear a shirt underneath the fine white lace ruffle shirt. Are those his nipples? My, so pinchable. Gods! Get it together, Gennifer! Oh gods, he’s wearing a corset.

“Oh my, lord magistrate, you look dashing, if you allow my bluntness.”

“Be as blunt as you like, dearest. I’m magnificent aren’t I.”

“Y-y-yes Lord Magistrate,” gods don’t be a blushing teenager he’s your boss.
