Flowey had higher hopes, when he died. Nothing unrealistic-- unlike the molten queen to whom he had pledged his allegiance (figurative fingers crossed behind his back all the while) he never expected his body-mate to a born warrior. All he had wanted was someone he could bend to his desires-- needing not strength, but someone who wouldn’t mess up his plots.
Instead, he got Maggie Lacivi. The fact that she was strong-willed and temperamental was bad enough, but then there was her tendency to fall in lower-case love. The fact that Flowey could barely comprehend the emotion aside, her seeming obsession with romance had a way of ruining his plans. If he had his way, they would've left this miserable planet years ago-- but then she’d have to give up her true love of the week, wouldn’t she?
“Howdy Maggie!” Flowey cheered, having burst from the overgrown earth of Maggie’s mindscape moments after she fell asleep. “Have you given any more thought to my plan?”
