I think I now know why
Why I have interest with guy to guy relationship. I have friends that are boys and they are pretty open to me. I’ve been hurt by a boy, broke my heart. I know how the mind of boy works, because of the tales of my friends. One day I saw on my fb feed a love story of Edd and Kevin. They are a cast of my fave childhood cartoon. Even though in the cartoon it doesn’t say there is something special between them, it’s the fans' head cannons tells me that there’s love in there. It showed me that a guy could really love. Truly love. Then I read The Songs Of Achilles. After that everything about guy to guy interest me. Because it showed me that guy can love with no reservations. A selfless love. They love like a girl. Giving everything to their other half. There’s a reality check in the things I’ve read, it’s not all happy. Boys these days just want sex eh. After they get what they want the leave the girl, but in a guy to guy relationships that I read, they don’t because they found love real love with each other. I think that’s why I have this interest in guy to guy relationship. Makes me happy to see that there are guys who can still love selflessly. A guy who will fight for your relationship to work. Maybe that’s what I really want, a guy that can love me like the love I read in books.
