Friendly reminder that the personal social media or general private information of corporate vtubers is under no circumstances yours to throw out like Halloween candy to anybody.

There is a reason why you need to do some digging to find out information about the talents behind the corporate livers. There is a reason why it's not spoken about willy-nilly. There is a reason why some people delete their entire past lives of the internet before starting their corporate careers. Either way, none of this information is yours to divulge to whomever you see fit at any point in time.

My reason for writing this are people going absolutely ballistic after Yugo's graduation was announced by Nijisanji on twitter. Some people took advantage of the situation and posted videos talking about their past life and others plastered their private socials on a world wide web billboard for everyone and their tech illiterate grandma to find. I am aware that a lot of these people were doing it to support the person behind the avatar, but maybe consider the feelings and situation of the person whose private data you are basically throwing out into the front yard of your house for everyone to look at. Some people might need time to process and move on from this and the last thing they want is for their private socials to be flooded by fans, karens and/or drama-hungry idiots immediately demanding answers and antis. If you want to show your love and support to this person, make a hashtag for the community to use and express their feelings in writing, art, music or other mediums for said person to look at in their own time.

The circumstances of the livers graduation or termination from the company doesn't matter. Even if a company fires a talent for farting on stream (extreme example), it doesn't justify giving out the talents personal social media.

Just because the information is out there, doesn't mean that it's for everyone to know about.
