maharellan said: ohhh my goodness i remember that blog, that was ages ago. you’ve rly improved a lot too, it’s nice to see ur work on my dash The Vriska blog was a train wreck because I made the mistake of running that during a time when the homestuck fandom was super chaotic and had a looot of problematic behaviors running rampant in it - I just didn’t realize it since I didn’t go in the tag so my exposure to the fandom was a few other ask blogs and the circle of awesome people I met through one of drunkenfisto‘s art streams way back in the day when they ran a gamzee ask blog. it also didn’t help that my art style was transitioning at the time since I was trying to evolve out of the “anime” style I had settled into before (cause a good number of people seemed to like that style too) so it was still kinda awkward, especially the noses, which was the main target of all the hate I was getting on that blog. I don’t regret it though, because it was still really fun since most of the people seemed to not give a shit and were actually making it pretty fun. I still have no intent of going back to it though, I don’t even remember the email I made that acc under (Sabata is a sub-blog so we’re good there. I just can’t send asks as him)
