Danny is the most gentlest person on Earth and that is what Nolan needs. When he comes back to Beacon Hills and sees how fragile the boy is, he takes his time to get to know him. And when it’s time to ask him out, Nolan says yes. He feels safe around Danny. He doesn’t judge him for his past. Especially when Danny tells him his best friend was a Kanima and he dated a blood lusted Alpha. While he’s with Danny, Nolan feels like he’s healing himself. He’s not being judged. He’s growing and Danny is so happy he’s growing.
So when it comes to Danny’s birthday, Nolan wants to show him how thankful he is for how much he helped him and for how much he loves him. While he was in class, Nolan spent the day trying to bake a cake and make the icing from scratch. He brunt the first cake but the second one was perfect. When Danny comes home, he sees Nolan standing there holding a pink cake.
“Happy Birthday.” Nolan said while he blushed.
Danny smiled as he walked up to him. “You didn’t have to.”
“N-no. I wanted too. You’re an amazing boyfriend.”
Danny took a hold of the cake and gave Nolan a kiss. “Then this is the best birthday ever. Thank you.”
Nolan smiled brightly. “Your welcome.”
