Mini-review:

I didn't think the original movie needed a sequel at all, but I stand corrected, cause I actually enjoyed this one even more. It goes straight to the point from the first scene and never slows down the pace. Sure, the setup kind of retcons some stuff, but the movie tries to explain it as well as it can, and it made enough sense for me. Mainly, because Kathryn Newton proves to be a co-lead worthy of Samara Weaving, who remains the ultimate scream queen of our times. The rich a**holes that make up the supporting cast are just as fun as those in the first movie, and seeing Sarah Michelle Gellar back in full form alone already made this sequel worth it. (I'm still mad as hell about the cancelled Buffy reboot, btw). All in all, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is a surprisingly good sequel.

Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come

I am a somewhat a late bloomer of a horror girl. My stomach doesn't handle a lot of blood and guts well. I find myself leaning towards almost like a comedy horror. AHS was how it started in December of 2021.

I didn't know Samara before Ready Or Not. She was a better Grace in the first movie.

These movies are so campy and I'm a sucker for blondes.

Katy Newton/Faith: she's become something of a new fixation for me. I did find myself leaning away from her character at times though.

SMG/Ursula Danforth: I didn't expect Shawn to kill her with his bare hands. Sarah had a very high society, alpha female way about her. But SMG has not aged well in her face.

Shawn Hatosy/Titus Danforth: Titus is quickly becoming one of my favorite names for boys. Shawn you are everywhere lately and 49 looks great on you.

My favorite of the girls was Francesca. I had heard Maia Jae's name before but I never really connected like a face and a role to it. I did expect her to last longer though.
