Thoughts: the purple suits her, and I always love a good dramatic finish.

Thoughts: this is her only competitive entry. It’s a shame that the Ukraine War has stopped so many careers.

Thoughts: she seemed so happy to get through this program.

Thoughts: this dress is always so pretty

Thoughts: I thought after she did so well at the Olympics, I would stop lumping her in with all the other younger seniors that are doing surprisingly well. I guess I kind of started doing that, because I did like this program. I still didn’t expect her to be one of the tano overkill girls.

Thoughts: the red underneath the dress gave it a sort of two layer effect. Very cool.

Netflix Avatar season 2 end

This is a combined entry for episodes 6 and 7.

Did I mean to binge and watch 2 episodes, no.

But the new show is getting everything right and Zuko looks sooo good.

And I wanted to get this all done before Shards anyway.

Jet, I am still thinking about how pretty your voice sounds. I miss you.

The original Long Feng was better. I don't know what was different about this one, but sometimes he just didn't feel very threatening.

Zuko's fever of change sequence was shorter but I'm not going to write an angry letter about it.

Toph is a metal bender!!!!!

Netflix Avatar season 2 episode 5 Ten Thousand Things

Lots of things were changed from the original show.

Azula and the fire nation didn't use their drill to get into Ba Sing Se. That would've been cool to see.

I don't mind that it was the professor that told Wan Shei Tong that Aang and his friends broke the rules. That they were going to use the information that they learned from the library for war.

Appa's kidnapping scene was right. Azula assuming control of the Dai Lei should happen the way it's supposed to.

Yes Jet, I'm stepping around the elephant in the room. Go easy on me.

Do you know how much Jet means to me?

Jet's death was rewritten. But the rewrite talked about a battle scene that I would've loved to witness.

The Freedom Fighters fighting together, as a family. Yes, an imperfect one but still a family. And even though it would be inaccurate to the original show, I hope we see them again.

I hope Katara grieves for Jet. Jet deserves to be remembered. He made a sacrifice. And he is my friend.

Jet dear, you may rest now

Netflix Avatar season 2 episode 3 Cities Of Walls And Secrets

This is not going in order of how the episode went but I am to excited to care

Jet and friends: Jet this is mostly about you being still alive. Can you just stay alive?

The Painted Lady: She's earlier than I predicted but I don't care!

My favorite part of the entire episode was everything related to Ju Dee. Her delivery, her big wide eyes. She was so much better than I expected.

My memories of the Lake Laogi plotline are very fuzzy but luckily we won't have to worry about that for another episode.

Katara's party dress had all these golden yellow sparkles. Katara may not be my favorite female character, but they do know how to make her look good.

Remember children, there is no war in Ba Sing Se

Netflix Avatar season 2 episode 2 A Fight Once Begun

Toph was not the highlight.

Ty Lee was the highlight. She was fucking amazing.

It was a joy to see Zuko and Azula's mother.

Toph, I love that she doesn't wear shoes. I love that she can bend rocks twice, even three times her size.

This episode felt a lot shorter than the first one.

I'm glad we didn't skip over the scene where Zuko helps Peng and Faye, but I remember it going differently in the original show.

I remember Peng hearing his brother had died in the war and Zuko wanting to connect with him about lost family members.

We need more of Zuko connecting with children, always.

We did not have the scene where Zuko captures Aang, and then almost dies in a blizzard.

Do you know how crucial that scene is for Zuko's character development, and for Aang's also?

Azula hon, power looks good on you.

Mai and Tai Lei are evolving. It's so fun to watch.

We missed the moment in the Serpent's Pass where Katara helps to deliver a baby. Add it to the angry letter I plan on writing to the producers.

I was NOT ready for Aang's newer deeper voice.

Netflix Avatar season 1 episode three Re-analysis

I understand that the focus of season 2 is Toph

But if season two follows the storyline of the original series then Jet's death will be here soon and I am NOT ready.

Rewatching episode three made me realize that I was too hard on Jet during my first review.

Even though my favorite male character of the show is Zuko, I didn't connect with him in the same way I connected with Jet.

Yes Jett's idea to plant a bomb on Sai was not in the original show and yes that still bothers me.

My favorite freedom fighter in the original show was Longshot. My favorite freedom fighter for the netflix version is Smellerbee.

NOW WE MOVE TO ZUKO

Netflix Zuko seems so much more proficient in hand to hand. It's a nice change.

I was reminded of the tension between Zuko and Zhao.

How well Zuko commands his soldiers, even though this Zuko seems so much younger than the animated one.

I still have one more Jet episode. And even after I watch it, it will probably still be a while before I start season 2.

Night agent season 3 episode 7 Once Upon A Time

My favorite part of this season is still our father son duo.

It was super fun to go through The Broker's story.

I do wish the show had been little clearer though. We've spent so much time only knowing him as The Broker. It took me a minute to figure it out when they started calling him James Monroe.

I know they wanted us to meet Isabel's mother and understand why she and the broker got separated but did they have to go about it in this way?

I did hear the awful news. Season 4 will be the last season of Night Agent.

I think Night Agent has become one of my favorite Netflix originals. It has so much potential. I don't see why it has to go.
