Light snuffed out (Closed - Marie)
Ugh...where on earth was he? Justin opened his eyes blearily, tugging himself to his feet groggily - he still felt dizzy and rather shaky, but not as bad as he had before. He...he remembered walking to Hibiki’s room. Thinking on it a moment: the teacher found himself wishing he had not. Everything came back to him: the confusion, not understanding what was going on.
Daiki, then Hibiki. Then Bendy, too. They’d all suffered: and the teacher wanted to cry for them, but no tears were left. He’d cried himself out in the trial. But...where was he now? Oh....this was Hibiki’s room. He’d come here straight after the trial to leave a parting gift, but the lack of sleep must have caught up with him. Who knew how long he’d been asleep on Wataru’s floor?
He spoke, voice slightly hoarse from the tears. “I...I am sorry to intrude on your room like this, I really am. I...wanted to leave you a gift.” He took a handkerchief from his pockets, but his hands shook as he tried to fold it. The memory of what he’d seen (if not heard) from the trial still burned at him. He...he just didn’t have any energy at all.
In all honesty?
He wished he had been the one punished, and not his students, because that would have been easier for everyone.
