( cis woman, levy tran, she/her) look who goes there! It’s mai phan. wait, you don’t know who she is? the 42 year old mechanic at the spiked wheel has been in town for, like, 30 years. i believe they live in springdale, but i usually see them around skin deep. they can be a bit stubborn, but i think being outgoing  kinda balances them out, you know?

mai was born and raised in california, but eventually traveled when she turned eighteen. having been from a big city, she realized she liked smaller towns and started living in one or two before settling down in maple brook. it was there that she received her education to become a certified/licensed auto mechanic. through her time in maple brook, mai has also become licensed to handle motorcycles, both to ride them but also to work on them.

while mai has likely become a known figure in town as someone who works hard and is always dependable when anyone needs a little help, whether it’s around the house or as a mechanic, mai relies on the town just as much. she doesn’t speak with her parents after having a difficult upbringing and feeling like she wants to start fresh here with a found family instead.

mai loves to go on adventures, whether it’s just a late night drive through town or hiking somewhere, she also likes to leave town and travel a little. but always comes back because this is home for her now. she has a fluffy black cat and loves him dearly. his name is salem.
