Aeni read over the message she'd been sent for the fourth time today, scrambling it about with a few swipes of her hands. She was almost enraged by the thing, the woman rushing about to select a series of keys, each one differing in size and materials, some old and some new. These keys were placed within one of the larger crates she'd been shipped the morning before, another laid at the bottom of a second, smaller box.
She set the smaller box at the inside of the crate, a beacon amidst the scatter of random keys. Of all the keys that could potentially open this particular box, no key did. In fact, the only key that was important was the one held hostage inside the locked container. How he'd open that locked container was up to him.
If he wanted to play with boxes, she'd play with the ways to open them. She attached a small note to the inside of the chest, just in case he found the way to pry it open.
"No worries, this isn't the one I told you about. I'll have that by next week."
