A walk through Mirkwood (maimedxbroken)
Many lose their path beneath the branches of Mirkwood, swayed by illusions permeating its humid air. Only those of the Eldar elude its deception, as expected of those who dwell beneath its lofty heights.
Disenwe is loathe to tarry in escorting the elven prince into lands he traverses daily, as the deadly creatures within oft hasten toward any object that might find disturbance underfoot. Thankfully they are in good fortune, encountering spiders nigh twice throughout their journey. Pride and mirth swells within the silvan's breast as they near their destination, aware that his kith maintain the borders of the woodland realm. It is clear, for the mild attacks suffered.
Hence are they within sight of elven gates, pale and intertwined in detail, ne'er breaking stride. Sentries stand guard as hoped, overseers of those that frequent elvish halls, inclining their heads curtly as Disenwe leads Nuada beyond the entryway. Upon venture and several strides into Emyn Duir the brunette then pauses, facing his superior in title with humble wonder throughout his gaze. "It is not often that my kingdom bears visitors, especially in these times."
