today i visited my grandparents at their apartment at a retirement home

we were talking about prom, because i just bought a dress, and my grandpa told us that his first date with my grandmother was his senior prom.

my grandma said she couldn't remember what dress she wore.

my grandpa was said he remembered exactly: it was a short, light pink dress with ruffles.

i almost cried omg
