Victor had to admit, this is certainly not how he expected things to turn out. Most of the time, when people owed him a debt, they begged for him to give them more time and offered more than they were in debt for. Which was alright in the long run. The less he had to hurt someone, the more respect he had for them.
However, as he stood outside the home of a man who owed him greatly, he finally came face to face with the woman who had given up her freedom for her male family member. He could see a fire in her eyes that he had only ever seen once before. It made him grin and like a gentleman, he held out a hand to lead the woman towards the black escalade waiting for her.
“You look wonderful” He spoke softly to her, winking to her before she climbed into the car. He almost laughed at the daggers she glared at him. Oh yes, this was going to be interesting. He climbed in next to her and as soon as the door closed, the driver took off. “So then, ready for your new life?” He asked, smirking as he placed a hand on her knee.
