it was the little one, lexington couldn’t forget her, not after the roaring contest they both had. so, he gave her a soft smile and held out his clawed hand.

@crczypeople from x
“how many fingers am i holding up?”
that hit on his head was more than he was willing to admit, but when the woman questioned him his eyes opened to look at the fingers that she held up. head tilting, aaron questioned.
“three?”

“only when i’m crouched...” though he was almost always crouched on all fours. “not everyone is blessed with height.”

you need to stay inside, where it’s safe, for now.
he could still hear goliath’s voice in his head as he looked around the city from his vantage point, he still felt useless with a fourth of himself gone. at least he could use his back legs and one arm to climb buildings.
he needed to get out of the clock tower and search the city for spare parts--anything to help him create a new arm and wing.
however, when he heard something move, the gargoyle turned his head in shock.
“who’s there?”
screaming, burning pain, blood gushing out, that’s all lexington could remember as he was resting on a bed in xanatos’ house. the terror he felt when he was kidnapped, he knew that he shouldn’t have left the clock tower, he was still too injured, even after three days of rest he hadn’t been able to recover.
when the hunters found him, they used the device they injected into the small gargoyles body to render him immobile. and when he was on the ground, breathing but unconscious they captured him once more. but this time it was for research and---payback for what he had done to their lab last time they had captured him.
so, they took the only thing that gave lexington the edge---his wing, and with it his arm. he couldn’t fix things, couldn’t--upgrade things.
with a scream he woke, panic rising in his heart as he glanced around. where was he? did he get away? yes, he had, and as he got that into his head his eyes relaxed as did his body.
breath, lexington, breath. but as he finally noticed what had been taken from him, that same panic rose, his eyes were flashed white as he growled out, though more of a sorrow sound than one of anger.
he was..usless now. or that’s how his heart felt. what could he offer the clan now that his arm was gone as was his wing?
with his wing giving him trouble as he glided, lexington took some time on the ground as he crawled along on the new york streets, making sure to keep out of human’s---mostly hunter’s---eyes.
