Garlic butter, lemon, and Parmesan cheese give these simple grilled oysters a lot of flavor. Great for a quick and tasty seafood starter or main dish.
Ingredients: 12 fresh oysters, on the half shell. 1/4 cup butter, melted. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 tablespoon chopped parsley. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Clean oysters and shuck them, leaving them on the half shell. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Place oysters on the grill, cover, and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to bubble. Carefully spoon garlic butter mixture over each oyster. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley over the top of each oyster. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Grill for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the edges of the oysters start to curl.
