As a field instructor at NCOBS I had the wonderful gift and privilege of facilitating life-changing experiences for my students. Sometimes they were cognizant of the change occurring within them, and sometimes they were just plain tuckered by all of their amazing growth. In this case, their growth experience included 4-5 miles of dense off trail travel, and a plenty to go until they reached camp for the night.
