Live looping has always been something that I've tried to get to work seamlessly within MainStage, but have never quite figured out an easy way to control the functions with drum triggers and still have triggers open to actually play sounds ... plus dealing with all of the glitches and latency issues with MS. Fortunately, there is now the Mandala Drums that allow me to trigger multiple sounds from one pad and I can control the stop/start/record functions on other triggers. There are still many things I would like to control simultaneously, but having the Mandala Drums in my setup opens up a lot more possibilities. Here is a recent experiment with a new template I set up in MainStage just using the Mandala Drums and a M-Audio mini keyboard.
