An Adventure in Buckland | Frodo and Merry |

It had been several years since Frodo left Brandy Hall, but he still remembered the place like it was home. Only, today it was much busier than he remembered. He'd been looking for Merry for nearly ten minutes, but everyone he asked seemed to recall his cousin heading in a different direction. 

After walking back and forth too many times, Frodo's common sense kicked in and he tried the kitchen. On first glance it was empty, save for a steaming pot and several dishes covered in tea-towels, waiting to be served. But Frodo new Merry too well to give into appearances.  

"Alright, Meriadoc Brandybuck, are you going to come out and welcome me or are you going to make me stand here all night?"

"I—- I….. do you really have to go?"

"Oh Merry! You know it pains me to leave you. But yes, I feel I must go. My heart has always yearned for the sea and I fear my time in the Shire has come to an end."
