A style test for a potential Maite chapter cover. The main comic would not be as rendered as this splash page.
Although Maite has short hair for the majority of the story, she does have long hair at the start.

Another style test for my Bronze Age project. This was my attempt of drawing a petasos hat.
This series has been more detailed pieces, likely the kind I would make for splash or focus pages. Next, I suppose I should focus on developing the more simplified style for normal panels.
I've learned my lesson with Our New Hope, that the more detail and shading I put into a panel, the longer it takes for me to come out with the update. There's a reason I was updating that story once per week when I still made sketchy panels.

Cover art for the webcomic preview project I am working on, set in the early Bronze-Age collapse.
The protagonists are a cursed descendant of King Lykaon, and the daughter of a Titan; trying to figure out who exactly her father was. I hope you stick around to learn more about these characters... If I end up making the full preview.

Although Chrysanthe and Asterios are both royals, they have quite different backgrounds. I was reading in a book I bought recently that the Minoans might have had access to monkeys through their trade partners such as Egypt. This was proposed as a possible inspiration for the monkeys in Minoan frescoes. Asterios came from a more modest Mycenaean territory with less access to wealth. Even if nearby courts had exposure to monkeys, he sure as hell didn’t.
Lykaos and Maite from my Bronze Age project. This is concept art and may not reflect the final product (if I actually make it).

More concept art for the Maite Project: this time its young Rhea and Kronos.
Maite (if I make the project, this is me we're talking about) wont be 100% accurate to Greek Mythology, (I consider it inspired by Bronze Age Mediterranean history and mythology rather than being a direct adaptation,) with one of the first changes being several of the gods' origins for narrative purposes. One of these changes is Rhea's origin, originally being born as a mortal woman who received apotheosis later on.
Here is the story's version of young Rhea and Kronos. Kronos has never cooked mortal food before, but he's trying his best!

Another Maite style test. I keep drawing later-arc characters, so the likelihood of y'all ever seeing this guy's story is pretty low.
The preview comic I plan to make, to gauge interest, is set during one of the early chapters of the full story.
