i have like 7 different aus for how geb and maizey met but by far my three favorites are:

1. gebra’s a new kid in town (around like........ 7th grade?) and maizey is like..... Ah. I Must Befriend Her Immediately. followed rapidly by oh i’m gay? i’m lesbian? i’m in love.

2. they meet while very drunk in a bar. it’s winter and they sing all i want for christmas is you while clinging to each other and they are having a blast. i think that’s how i wrote they met in a week in the rain....

and 3. they still meet in a bar, but in restroom this time. they’re both watching their own respective pauline. pauline p(retzel) is geb’s friend who’s been puking in the bathroom for like... a while, and pauline m(acaroni- isn’t a pretzel) just comes stumbling in and maizey’s hot on her trail. the pauline’s bond on the floor while crying and maizey and gebra bond by being the sober friends.
