tanned features press just ‘ gainst the face of the stranger, umber staring into her own irises with curiosity evident ‘ pon star speckled features / dark freckles shimmer like inverse stars on lovely face, dark and then only darker in the way his skin dots. behind him tail flicks back and forth, back and forth + he awaits her own reaction to such a near presence; right in front of her face !

    they do not   STINK   of human filth   ------   therefore they are automatically already OKAY at most. almost anything was better than HUMAN. though at the same time, she must stop herself; instincts are more than formidable, but she knows better than most    ------   it’s   POSSIBLE   to be   FOOLED. derived of an ancient species herself though, she knows ancient or "otherworldly" when she feels it.

SHE’S MORE THAN SURE  this one is something much more than what their seemingly human confines gave off. consider it an ancient  (?)  demon’s intuition   ---   the energy they gave off is just too obvious to go unnoticed by a demon of pepper’s expertise. how can she engage with this lady without coming on too strong  ---  too OBVIOUS? she needed to be WISE about this   &.   take only the most REASONABLE route through this ....
