Lyle Beniga for Major Definition (MD)
Our friends from Maryland, Major Definition, just had their First Annual Alumni Banquet. A great idea to show their appreciation for those who help create opportunities for UMBC dancers to express themselves through movement. Our good friend Lyle Beniga, one of the many talented co-founders of MajorDef (S/O to Jake, JV, Miguel, Peter, Kristen!), provided this shout-out which was played during the special shout-outs portion of the banquet. Lyle provides insight into his and Major Def's humble beginnings at UMBC. He also touches on important and inspirational points urging dancers to continue to support and motivate each other, because with that support, the community has the potential to grow and change peoples' lives.
