I think more people want Ward back than anyone else. Even if you don't like his character it makes more sense to bring him back than anyone else. Like when you think about it, no one else other than maybe Lincoln would make sense to bring back
Look here friend, I’m sure you’re right that a whole lot of people want Ward back, but regardless I wouldn’t say that’s the highest justification for his return over a multitude of other amazing characters that were killed off, written off, or forgotten about. The thing is, Ward has had an ample amount of screen time and it is my own opinion that he got way more than he deserved. As for your comment about Lincoln being the only other one that makes sense to bring back, I guess that has to do with the setup in the Framework that Daisy is in a relationship with Ward and Lincoln is the only other person that has been paired romantically with her, so he’s the only one who would logically make sense.
To that I say who gives a fuck. I’m not saying that the plot won’t justify Ward’s return, I’m saying that I would prefer a plot that would bring back pretty much anyone else (I mean is our best choice really between 2 bland white dudes??). Ward may have fans, but even with as little screen time was provided to these minor characters, they developed sizable fanbases of their own. Just look how little screen time we got with Trip, yet there was a whole fan campaign to bring him back (if anyone deserves to be resurrected via virtual reality fantasy world, it’s definitely Trip #triplives).
Look, you don’t have to agree with me and you can be happy that a character you enjoy has returned, but I’m not gonna jump on that train just because Ward has the majority fan vote (which I think is debatable). And maybe Ward won’t be the only character brought back, maybe he was just the only one revealed so far, maybe everyone comes back and maybe all my dreams will come true.
But until then, Ward can suck it.
