My name is Andrea and I was diagnosed with breast cancer approximately 6 months ago. I have done radiation and hormone therapy on top of trial and error with other medications. Next up is surgery and chemotherapy. I wont lie, I have crap insurance. Between my doctors and insurance sadly things are not being covered. My doctors and I have been in contact with a couple of drug companies. They are willing to give me a large discount on meds if paid out of pocket. We just done have the extra monthly funds to cover it. Insurance is fighting on payment for just about everything. Currently I have little to no medications due to insurance and not being able to afford them. Currently my family is living off of a very limited income and we cant afford all of the meds on top of traveling to get to doctor appointments. I need some help. Added on top of everything else, Our only vehicle needs tires. A little about me.... I am a mother to 5 wonderful Children. (I've added photos of my family) 4 of those children still live at home. Before my diagnosis, I enrolled in college to obtain my BSN ( bachelors in science for Nursing). I have had to put that on hold due to just not being able to keep up with kids, household, and school. We have 3 boys and 2 girls. All great, fun, smart , fantastic kids! Anything anyone is able to help with is so much appreciated. I can't work at the moment and with insurance not covering everything, I just cant keep up. It comes down to buying groceries or paying for meds and doctor visits.
