WHAT: Celebrating eight years since the New Directions win of the National show choir championship title, I would like to invite you to join me, Emma, Clare, and a few other special teachers from McKinley in honoring eight years since your win. It was a long road for you all to get there, but once you did, you proved yourselves worthy of calling yourselves National Champions. Make A Change RP proudly presents: The Awaken Years
Hello members of Make-A-Change and the followers of our present seventeen souls still finding their ways. As you all know, our little family here at MAC have been together for 1 year and 5 months [quickly reaching 6 months!] and we still continue on strong. As before, though a month earlier than last year's announcement, we are eager to announce that Make-A-Change will be going through another time jump as of February 2014 [real time] and going straight for February 2020! A four year jump? Who knows what kind of rise and falls our beloved characters will have gone through in such a large gap of time?
On February 1st, 2020, our seventeen souls will receive an invitation from Will Schuester to celebrate eight years since the New Directions' win at Nationals in 2012. Exactly a month before the reunion gathering back in Lima, the characters will have to decide whether they plan on accepting or declining the invitation, as well as packing up themselves [and their families] to go back to where it all started; Lima, Ohio.
Just as before, January 30-31, our roleplay will officially 'go dark' [or be paused for the time being] and resume on February 1st, Midnight Lima time, in 2020! This two day period, after a post from the main page to indicate the blackout in in effect, is for follow-ups of what has happening through February 2016-February 2020. The following is acceptable forms of doing so:
Already finished paras with another MAC character [only if already done ahead of time]
Internet, newspaper, or media articles
Self paras are 100% highly recommended for catching others up on what has gone on with your character from February 2016 til February 2020. You will keep all former posts, a deleting spree is not needed, and information must be updated on your character's blog. Recommended, but not required, you should have a link to a post [whether that post being the one that will be located on the character page or not] that all followers and members of Make-A-Change can read to be fully updated on life from 2016-2020.
[Edited] Mentioning other characters must be discussed with the other characters' holders, as you already know. We strongly suggest this and, from what we witnessed, the discussions worked fairly well getting ready for last year's time jump as well. This time, with a larger jump and most likely some larger time events, we are making things easier with a 'Awaken Plot Blog' that will be sent to everyone via submit box! There, as you will see [as we grow closer to February] a place to add in large landmark events that WILL be known to all the characters.
Weddings [a list of invited guests/wedding parties is recommended as well to let opposing characters know if their character was involved or invited to be involved]
Bachelorette/Bachelor parties [same as above]
These are few of the events that can be added to the list, to let everyone know that will be happening and to make sure their character has knowledge of said happenings. If anyone has any questions about the 'Awaken Plot Blog', please don't hesitate to ask. “The Awaken Years" is mandatory. If you are not available during these times, please message the main for discussion.
As before, during the next few months, we will be posting a questionnaire about your character in which will need to be finished and submitted to us by January 1st. Along with a questionnaire, a bio discussing what happened during the five year gap [relationship status, school and work happenings, and everything in between]. Please do not fret! This is the reason we are posting this as early as possible because we know this will take sometime, especially with a larger jump than before.
Under our countdown for our 'Return to Lima Week', there is now one to countdown our time jump as well!

Before January 1st, submit your 2016-2020 character bio and questionnaire [available at later date]
January 30-31; MAC will be 'going dark'. No present day interactions on the dash allowed. Follow-ups on characters from 2016-2020 are recommended.
February 1, 2014 [2020 for our group]; At midnight EST, the roleplay will be un-paused and 2020 interactions with commence.
Talk to other members and create large plot bunnies, we want details. Four years is a long time! Remember to be specific!
