I woke up this morning with a couple ideas for signs for #keepfamiliestogether. I’ve never done a sign for any of the marches I’ve done, so I made these signs for the rally in the park right behind my building: #yeswecare #makeamericamoralagain As I was making the signs, I heard a guitar and singing outside and thought they were doing a sound check. Finishing just in time for the 3p gathering, I looked out my window. Where was everyone? No cars, no people. Just another day. I ran to my computer. It had been canceled. As my daughter said, Well now you’re ready for the next one. I hope there is no next one, but if those children are not reunited with their families soon, I will be ready to make a stink.
