So, I know about the drama regarding Melodie height change and seen the debates if it is a big deal or not. As a Melodie main, I think it ruins her character. While I still play her because in game, you can't notice it much. My thing is that, we know that Melodie is a bit egotistical from her rivialy with Janet and comparison to Kit and Max. Her being tall added to that trait as she looked down on most brawlers, symbolizing her ego. Also, it is plain unnecessary.
