Hey all. Super off the wall post but as a makeup wearer and current manager at a makeup store, I have some advice: it might seem like a great idea to buy high end makeup for cheap off of websites like Amazon or from stores like TJ Maxx because of the price and convenience. But here is the truth: half the time, that makeup is a knock off in the same packaging, often a reseller item meaning the seller bought the product super cheap and sold it at a higher rate, is sometimes old or expired and is sold so cheap because there was an issue with the package or product itself. If you buy from places like that, we as the real sellers of the product can't guarantee that you will have the same results you usually do from the real products. So while it may seem like you are saving some money, you're actually being scammed.
FYI: this not always the case but do check the reviews and who the seller is. If you are skeptical, you probably have a good reason to be.
