In case you didn’t know, the album is called How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful and it is probably the best album I’ve heard so far this year.

The songs are so deeply personal and allow you to bear witness to all of these feelings deep down inside; the very same feelings that kill us all, eating us from the inside-out. My personal favorite is Makeup Your Mind. This song is about going to the end for that one person and they wouldn’t do the same for you and you’re completely over it. You’re at your wit’s end because they’re in, then they’re out. Makeup your mind; let me leave or let me love you. While you’ve been saving your neck, I’ve been breaking mine for you. The power is on, the guillotine hums. My backs’s to the wall; go on, let it fall. Makeup your mind; before I make it up for you. The whole album just radiates with raw and pure emotion with a sense of powerful purpose. It’s an amazing album, so go listen if you haven’t.
