First blog post... Let's see how this goes...
After the year I've had with wondering if college is the right path(which is totes wasn't); what it is exactly I want to do (I should have listened to my heart); while still trying to find myself (which ironically had to do with something I thought I wouldn't do), I decided to create this blog for not only those who went through the something very similar. Along with my life's new journey, I would also post about one of my one and only passions: makeup. During one of the most difficult year of my life, I turned to make up. It was a way to express myself when I felt like I was drowning. Make up is a very materialistic object in society, but it is a way of self expression. The way you can play up your natural beauty with a 'no-makeup' look or go all the way to fantasy makeup and special effects. The possibilities are endless and that's why I love the reasoning behind makeup. This sounds so corny but if I didn't already have a passion for makeup, I would never have grown up as much as I did when I thought college was the right and only path for me.
