Honored to receive this Proclamation (“Key to the City”) from the City of Atlanta at the #YesterdaysTomorrow Conference. I had an idea for a conference that would not only enrich the minds and spirits of those in attendance but our overall community as well. We made the conference free to attend but required acts of service in exchange. 8 community service events and over 200+ community service volunteers later and we made the vision come to life. We prepared food and fed those less fortunate, we gave clothes and scarves to those in need, we cleaned up our streets and parks of litter, we spent time and energy making impressions on the youth and our future leaders teaching them life skills and confidence affirmations, and we also gave back to our environment by planting new trees!! At the conference those volunteers were rewarded with priceless insight and gems from some of my favorite people in the world. We worked in the community together, we made the conference happen together, so we will share this “Key To The City” together!!!! I hope I made you proud Dr. Martin Luther King JR. #LeaderNotAnInfluencer Thank you @martellusa #makeyourstatement #martellambassador (at Cam Kirk Studios) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7l2MFUHiTi/?igshid=l2tcqozg3uza
