I check out the leafmould in the leaf mould Compost bin as part of making compost for the potting mix in the plant pots.

In this video I'll be making more compost bays and filling them. I build quick compost bays from palettes and store the green clippings for ericaceous compost and make another bay for normal compost.

I've added a temporary fence at the back of the allotment, to give a little privacy and deter casual visitors. I also start a temporary compost heap, in the bottom of the allotment from the clippings that tree surgeons and arborists drop off in the chippings bay.
