There's a reason why people obsess over ships. It's not because they're insecure or crazy it's because people can see the love for what it is. There's a reason why we STILL hold Romeo and Juliet on a pedestal of love stories . There's a reason why pride and prejudice makes us loose ourselves. It's that connection between two souls, it's that unconditional love that people want and dream of. For me, I truly want more than anything is a love that moves and consumes the soul. That person we just fit with no matter the obstacles. So fine I'm obsessed but I'll be damned if someone tries to make me feel bad about it or shame me because I refuse to give up on true love. If a show or story can still give people hope and something to hold on to why is that sooo bad? More importantly why do you bleeping care? If it makes you happy and gives you some small hope I say obsess and ship away.

I just rewatched season one of legend of Korra and now I have an even deeper appreciation for it. Except for one thing: Makkora. It's really just does not work for me. They're so not right for each other and it seems like a forced relationship. A blend of ego and stubborness and not much communication.

Ahaha well. to be honest. I wasn’t much of a Makorra fan. When the series first started, I don’t know why but I felt that it was going to fill my zutara heartbreak. But that was silly since they were completely different characters. I still thought it was really cute.

But after that episode where all the love triangles showed up. I didn’t really feel the cuteness anymore. It was too dramatic and felt kind of forced. Which is understandable. The series had to have been wrapped up. The romance just didn’t appeal to me all that well. I see where people can like it, but I was “meh alright. It’s fine.”

Korrasami. I have been in love with the idea since I’ve heard of it. I thought it was cute, and it could work. I’ve seen fanart and comics, it looked adorable. I hear people online saying that the romance towards the end for them was rushed as well and had it’s flaws. I feel that yeah it’s possible the series final episodes had flaws about it, but because of all the korrasami stuff I saw on my blog I felt it didn’t? I don’t know if that makes sense. It’s like maybe it wasn’t the story that made me believe korrasami was meant to be. It was the great fan work that did it? For me anyways.  

Anyways you asked a simple question and I rambled. I like Korrasami more.

Wow I haven't blogged in a while. Haven't written one of these since the new year started. Maybe it's good, maybe it's bad. Haha... who's even reading these? 

I wanna talk ships. 

I love ships.

I love being on a boat. 

Yeah, the nautical terms combined with... the m/m relationships just creates large... problems. 

And shipping wars. Did I mention shipping wars? I currently have one going on with a certain person... over a guy...  and another guy.

Yeah... it's going... somewhere. 

But how about a ship that sailed?

Can I talk about Korra? It's no longer a spoiler anymore is it? Korrasami is so real right now! Take that Makkorra! I was totally there... when season 1 premiered. In a lab. Full of nerds. Fully like 'OMG it's like Zutara!'. Well, yeah, and it kinda sorta didn't give me the 'oogies' (thanks Sokka. I really needed that w/all the Kataang in the comics). But the minute Mako started being dumb ... I was so off that ship. And any ship involving Mako. 

Actually I probably started shipping Korrasami ... the minute Korra got into the back of that car with Asami. And then it went by so fast... oddly enough they were in Asami's car quite a bit. I would chortle and laugh because I was like... what other options were there? Mako was certainly out of the question for both girls and Bolin dating Asami would just be just as awkward if Korra suddenly decided to do so. Date both the brothers? 

Probably why I did this. AMV. 

So was the relationship kinda... what? Maybe. Do I care? No. My ship sailed. I felt pretty powerful. 

NCIS has lots of ships. And Gibbs' team is usually almost on one. 

Can we mention Tiva? Because I for one, miss Ziva so much. As much as Bishop is eclectic and funny... miss Ziva as a foil for Tony. I shipped em'. Hard.

Same thing with McNozzo. They're being so bromantic now I can't even. 

And Bibbs. Holy crap, now Agent Borin is on NCIS New Orleans. Love Diane Neal. 

And with this arc. Totally shipping Gibbs and Fornell. Is there a ship name for it? Gornell? Someone tell me! 

Also, you can probably ship Abby with ... pretty much everyone. 

What's the endgame? Who can friggin' tell? And who said you can't be on more than one ship at a time?

I have to admit, even though I was a bit shock to see Korra and Asami become a couple at the end of the show, I think that they're a cute couple. When it comes to shipping, I consider myself both a Makkora fan and a Korrasami fan
