You can also drink licorice tea! I have strictly seasonal depression, so my doctor didn't feel it was right to put me on medication all year round. I don't suggest taking the other herbal supplements I have (simply because that's something you absolutely MUST talk to a doctor about), but black licorice is a natural anti-depressant that you can buy regardless of age. Stash makes a really good tea called Licorice and Spice which is super affordable.
