Louis Bromfield won the 1927 Pulitzer Prize for Literature and built this innovative farm that continues to operate in Richland County. The @ohstateparks tour guide said that 95% of the items in the house were there when Bromfield passed away in 1956 — which is highly unusual for a historical site like this one. @sprkl57 captured Malabar Farm from a really cool perspective. Malabar Farm State Park is located in Lucas, near Mohican. It was built in 1939 by author Louis Bromfield. Today, you can tour his house and farm, hike trails, view various wildlife, eat at their restaurant, or even attend one of their barn dances!
